Cheesecake is often a winner all round! That is why it tends to be my ‘go to’ whenever I am baking for a dinner with friends or family. It’s always popular and there is plenty to go round! It is also a great blank canvas too for decoration and you can make it your own! This post contains the recipe for a Mini Egg Cheesecake, perfect for Easter or Easter chocolate leftovers! If it’s not Easter you can easily swap the Mini Eggs out for other chocolate favourites such as m and ms, chocolate buttons, or milky bar.
It’s Easter weekend! The weather is gorgeous and it’s time for a few days to relax with lots of food and drink. As the holiday revolves around chocolate, it would be rude not to bake something gooey and chocolatey. This bake was an idea sent to me by my friend, what better way to catch up than baking a proper treat!
Happy Easter! Apologies, the title is a little bit of a mouthful, but it will all make sense a little later on. Easter is yet another great time of year for food and for experimenting with food. The day/bank holiday as a whole makes a great excuse to chill out, eat loads of yummy food, have a few drinks and see the family. This is my favourite combination of things, so, to mark the occasion this weeks bake is a chocolate cake, but with a little-hidden surprise!
